Nice link to TIME. Their so-called 'best' photos of the year are so iffy and so TIME magazine values-laden. I liked the one of the Iraq woman who had apparently just finished voting. Other than this they seemed almost infatuated with gore and disaster and death for a 'best photo'.

Too bad they didn't have a picture of the brute Ted Kennedy making Sam Alito's wife cry. Or perhaps one of Senator Specter holding off the beacon of Massachusetts' morality from his attempted takeover of the committee. Or another of Judge Roberts being sworn in on the Supreme Court.

There is a fabulous photo out there somewhere of President Bush kissing a 'snowflake' child. Snowflake children are living, breathing young humans who were once allegedly valueless (except for 'parts') frozen human embryos again allegedly 'destined' for destruction. But who apparently were adopted. Now those are some photos!

Maybe another of the United Nations signing the ban on all human cloning.

Where are TIME's pictoral priorities? Look at the pictures. They do say a lot, don't they.
